I really hope the issues become resolved with the new design and existing customers are taken care of. i learned early on from owning a first gen VPS that bushings simply do not work for this application regardless of the material the bushing is made from. i still own and ride a bearing equipped chaparral. some even came from the factory installed backwards (pyre). many didn't line up right and caused damage to the bushings during install. tolerances between the linkages were horrible. even then some would stop halfway causing the bushings to become damaged. bushings/pivots were shipped from the factory completely dry.

many would split during install or not insert at all. back when the first run came into the warehouse i had issues simply trying to insert new bushings into frames. lube ports never worked well or not at all. during initial post ride teardown and inspection i found many bushings had split or suffered damage in some capacity. every prototype/production bike i rode suffered from squeaking at the pivots. i'll do my best to post facts only in an effort to keep the fanboys at bay. i was banshee's warranty and product support manager during the initial launch of the new product line (rune, scythe, wildcard, rampant, pyre, amp).
